>>47971070It's not weak to them, but a shitload of Pokemon RELY on those moves to actually be effective, and they are much more common than sound moves and other Kommo-o. Pixilate is exclusive to Sylveon at this point since they axed the megas and of those two megas only Garde was the one who'd bother with Hyper Voice, and Garde's mega isn't that good anyways (being reduced to obsolete garbage literally the same gen Kommo-o came out). The only status move that's sound based and ever sees actual usage is Parting Shot. When was the last time you actually saw someone running fucking screech?
Essentially, Bulletproof lets Kommo-o completely stonewall numerous Pokemon and prevent them from even touching it while also absorbing those hits for it's teammates, while Soundproof is only, only ever useful on Kommo-o if you're designing the set specifically to kill other Kommo-o.
