Lanturn has access to a good typing w a great immunity given by it's ability, in addition to good supportive capabilities. Make it bulkier and it'll put in work as a Volt Switch Support mon.

It’s my favorite eevee but its stats are just wrong in terms of making a good Pokemon. I do like it being a physical attacker since it subverts the expectation of its fluffy appearance, but it being a mixed attacker (second highest stat is special attack) is a cruel joke that none of the other eevees have to endure. You can swap that 95 to HP to give it a very unique role as an actual Fire type cleric with Wish and Heal Bell, or to Speed to make it significantly better as an attacker, can’t go wrong either way.
On top of this, give it Fluffy to bolster its durability- you can’t convince me there’s a more deserving Pokemon for this ability

Better defenses alone would only make it a worse Rotom-Wash. It needs other things to set it apart

It's biggest niche is Guts by far. On a Fire type, it's the boost is absurd. However, Flareon's awful speed mean you have to play around Fire being frail as shit in order to snag that Poison. Speaking of poison, that's the only viable status condition you can give it conventionally. Flame Orb can't burn it and paralysis is fucking shit due to the possibly full para. Combine these w a shitty movepool and you have an awful Fire type that will never amount to anything unless it receives new moves and/or a new ability.

Additionally, Rotom works really well as an offensive pivot due to it's good SpA, reasonable bulk and great speed tier. Whereas Lanturn would ideally work as a Mon you pivot into to regain momentum, set up status or heal your team.

True. It already has ok bulk, with it's high HP stat. It's just that it's other stats suck balls, and is one of the main reasons why it's a shitmon

I kinda like how Drayano buffed Sunflora. Basically gave it a shitload of Special Attack, while still being pretty slow and fairly frail

It's stats are the only thing holding it back. It's too weak to be a threat without boosts, and it's frailty means it hardly ever gets a chance to set up. Even when it does, it's so slow that it usually gets revenge killed anyway.

Normalize should just be a type matchup version of No Guard, where everything hits for neutral damage on both sides. As for Delcatty itself, the amount of bonus stats it would need could probably warrant an evolution in the vein of Obstagoon.

Tiers like NU and UU and such develop their own metas due to unique mons, with some improvements those same things could be brought to OU.
