Masuda, realizing that the high quality models of a thousand Pokémon are too many to include in the 3 mb of space on a Switch Pro cartridge, approaches you and asks you which Pokémon stand out to you as needing to be redesigned/removed from the games entirely. picrel are the Pokémon that, imo, fail to fit into a hypothetical "ecosystem" for a few reasons:
>the animal + "concept" mixture leans too heavily into the "concept" side, resulting in a flanderized design (think Yo-Kai Watch designs)
>the Pokémon is too clearly designed as a singular entity, so it's hard to picture it living in the wild, or even multiples of the species interacting
>extremely bad ideas
A lot of the ones I picked out would be fine with some design tweaks, but most of them need to be removed entirely.
What do you think? What designs speak to you as especially egregious?
