Beat it last week. Was fun and seems a little faster than Colosseum. Still needed to run it at 2x speed. Pokemon selection was good and the later battles are challenging if you're running with a purified team.

Shit sequel to Colosseum, has the most boring plot imaginable with a bunch of reused assets. Basically a slog all the way through. The only improvement was the shadow move variations they added besides shadow rush.

It just loses some of the charm Colosseum had. The character designs are toned down, Orre is a lot brighter, Cipher's less of an overbearing force, etc.
That's not to say Gale of Darkness isn't good, it is, it just isn't *as* good.

I wish the battle CDs came back. There's probably a ton of puzzles with all of the new, weird move interactions you could do. It was a great way to test veteran players while also teaching new ones.
