Alright, I've only played the PS4 version so I'll take your word for it. The point stands though that the DP remakes should be looking at least close to this. They shouldn't have forests of copypasted trees in neat little lines and generic tiles to run around on.

Did you play S or Vanilla? Because I played S on PC and it didn't look that great, it's a switch port so they had to downgrade the graphics a lot compared to what the vanilla looked like on PS4

I would hate if they made a literal super saiyan lookalike my main character, or had the same meager amount of monsters that DQ does.
True Pokémon fans aren’t concerned with graphics, even after all these years, even though we’re on the switch, they can barely handle what’s given to them, I’d really rather they don’t distract themselves with unnecessary flash.

I knew what the dev console is but your sentence didn't make any sense since I never saw someone making the graphics look better just using that. Again, can you poste the source on that? I knew about reshade and mods, but not about the dev console itself alone, how the fuck do you add more grass and/or change the lighting with the dev console alone?

I haven't really looked it up since back then. I meant ini and cvars adjustments. mixed it up. there's also project rebuild which seeks to swap all models and textures with the ones on XI though it's far from flawless.
