The one big flaw I will give you is the sprite artifacts whenever the camera zooms in&out in the overworld and in battles, but I'm not an autist so it doesn't bother beyond being another point to the fact GF has always been incompetent and behind the curve.
The sprites themselves look fine for the most part beyond some lazy stretching "animations" that shitposters won't ever stop nitpicking. It was also the last time we had a proper color palette with actual color contrast and not the pastel shit they use nowadays.
The overworld looks great and full of detail and life, the "jagginess" of the 3D assets were something completely normal given the limitations of the DS screen at the time, and if you're THAT bothered by it you're probably a kid who has never played anything before the PS2 era.
It still looks fantastic on my old DSlite, and if you're playing on an emulator without properly scaling it to x2/x4 or without the internal resolution cheats everyone uses nowadays and still cry about it I'm afraid you're either retarded or purposely looking for excuses to hate on a gen barely anyone cares about outside this site.
