Generations is the better of the two by leaps and bounds. Some of the dialogue in it is seriously cringe though, pretty much everything from the one with Blue and the Kanto Elite 4 was god awful.

Most of Twilight wings and the two most recent poketoons are better than both.

I'd say Origins is worse because it completely skips the character development. The only time we ever see Red struggle is in his very first battle, and watching a Marty Stue is very boring. Generations is very comfy, but it again suffers because we hardly see anything.

The only problem I have is Jolteon being OHKO'd by a non-STAB Electric move. Other than that, I think it's okay. Giovanni is obsessed with having the MOST POWERFUL POKEMON, so he probably goes hardcore with EV training, vitamins, natures, stats, etc.
