I can forgive them because Legends actually has new animations and each and every Pokemon seems to be getting fleshed out.
What I can't forgive is SWSH still being a shit-tier offshoot of Alola's design policies despite it. To pour salt in the wound they even bloated the DLC dexes with Pokemon that were already in the base game to trick you into thinking they were bigger than they really were. THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE DIFFERENT DEX ENTRIES

I think its a good direction for the games. I never liked how you can't complete the game without having another game, and sometimes even console. Now all they have to do is remove version exclusives and I think pokemon would be in a much better place.

I never really cared about event exclusive mythicals since they don't count toward the 100% pokedex and they always happen after I stop playing the game, but yes that too is something shitty that they should stop. Pokemon would be much better if they stopped timed/game exclusives.

Really makes me wonder what they're going to do with BDSP. Not having Pokemon compatibility with a game in the same generation would be hilariously bad, but they went pretty light on the genV-VII trims. Wonder if we'll get every single Pokemon or some sort of compatibility disaster.

They didn't even try doing the Natdex in Gen 7 either and it was even WORSE, what's the excuse there? Why can't we just get a borderline decent game?

It definitely hastened my already waning interest in the series. I do think it was inevitable but not with a game like Sword and Shield where it would not have been a significant amount of more work to include every mon.
