Yes. I wish we could get more Porygon evolutions. I find it hard to believe that there aren't tons of autists in the Pokémon world trying to create Porygon evos.

As a kid this card always made me compulsively hunt down every last piece of Pokemon merchandise at my local Toys-R-Us whenever my parents would take me there in the hopes that I'd randomly find this huge, nonexistent Porygon figurine.

Do you think kids in Kanto back in 99 were excited for their own Porygon entertainment monster?That image makes me think of a kid getting one as a gift. Silph probably planned to market it as a good starter mon alternative. Colors to appeal to boys and girls. They tried to market it as a more higher end model with 2 but that failed. Then years later nostalgic programmers who sought to improve their childhood pokemon romhacked it.

It's basically just a shot autobigoraphical manga about what a Porygon felt during the anime debacle. This artist started working on the Iruma-kun spin-off manga now.

He only got banned from the anime and movies, not any of the games thankfully.
I wish they would just lift the ban, it's been 20 years, the kids who were affected are like 30 now, I'm sure they've forgiven Porygon (even though he didn't do anything wrong, justice for Porygon).

what would your pitch for a porygon3 be? i'd give it a gimmick similar to arceus where it can hold an item to change it's typing. instead of changing it's typing altogether though it would add a secondary typing instead. so if you gave it a poison drive it would be a normal poison type.

I love the digital ducks so much. Especially Porygon2. Was overjoyed when the Pokémon fit plush came out of him! I also used one in my first legit VGC team, buddy carried a lot of weight there.

I'm not sure how canon this is, but a Japan exclusive book called Pokedex containing an alternate Pokedex from the games was released in Japan around the release of the original Red and Green. In the book, it says "While Porygon are exceedingly rare, they somehow came to be offered as prizes by the game corner. Investigations by the authorities are ongoing in the matter. Their findings are eagerly awaited." It's possible the original Porygon was never meant to be released to the public and was stolen. It's mentioned in the game pokedex entries for Porygon that people anticipate it will fly one day and for Porygon2 that it was built with space exploration in mind, but if failed to measure up. This possibly implies it may be unfinished.
