Thankfully because of this game, the Pokemon Company seems to notice that they can't keep getting away churning out rushed games year after year in the long run and are trying to experiment now and give Gamefreak slightly more time for game development while handing out the IP to other developers.
There's a reason the only piece of Pokemon main game content we got from Gamefreak in 2020 was the DLC for Sword and Shield and literally nothing else.
