i had this same reaction when i first heard the swsh gym battle theme. I love electric music but the song doesn't sounds like a song to me, just noise. Yet everyone was acting like ots the best gym theme ever made.

That’s most likely just trailer music and even if it isn’t, it’s probably just a new theme for somebody new, not an outright replacement

What’s wrong with the song? It’s trailer music so you don’t have to worry, but I thought the song was pretty good, it had a payoff section, it wasn’t like SWSH and XY’s Gym leader theme where the song felt like it was leading up to something but didn’t pay off
