Steven and scientists at Mossdeep were going to use link cable portal technology to divert the meteor to another dimension but Zinnia destroys the technology, saying that it could just destroy the world in that other dimension. She goes with the player to the Sky Pillar (I’m forgetting exactly why, might be because she recognizes your meteorite as Rayquaza’s mega stone) to tame Rayquaza, but it doesn’t work and it won’t listen to her. Rayquaza instead responds positively to the player, who catches Rayquaza, battles Zinnia one last time, and stops the meteor. Zinnia leaves to go travel and find out who she is, since what she always that she had been turned out not to be the case.
