It's a remake of a shit game. Platinum couldn't fix DP's abundant garbage and neither will this.

So far, everything in the original diamond and pearl are intact and upgraded, the underground being expanded into a mini wild area was unexpected.
The real question is, what do we have in post game and will it at least rival Platinum.
So far the available Pokémon looks to be bigger than base Platinum with things like numel and lanturn.
It’s possible it could rival Platinum even without Battle frontier mostly because it’s fucking ILCA and not Gamefreak.
We’ll have to wait and see

Also, even if the game was nearly identical to original DP, it would still be a better quality Pokemon game than any mainline title that came out in the last 9 years
