Instead, he wakes up Eternatus, interrupts the finals of the Pokemon League just to say 'yo, Im waking up Eternatus today instead of any other day because... because!' and leave it like that.

In restrospective, it wouldn't have changed much, but Rose wouldn't be considered a twist villain, and wouldn't be thought as the biggest retard in the Pokemon franchise so far.

The fact that waking up Eternatus had the potential to be extremely dangerous also makes me pretty sure that if Leon knew Rose's full plans he would've said no to the idea anyway, so again, it would likely just end with Rose going "fuck you you dont understand muh vision" and doing it anyway. I dunno, I think people put too much weight on the One Day thing, I feel like Eternatus's situation would play out the same no matter what.

You should try it. It has a nice dry, tart taste to it.
Cranberry juice though- not cranberry juice cocktail. The former is sweetened with other fruits, but the latter is sweetened with corn syrup.

I think interrupting the tournament was meant to make the whole thing seem more dramatic and show how impulsive Rose could be. Most likely things would've played out exactly as you say even if Rose waited a day.
