Unequivocally, this is the best Pokemon game I have ever played. I would give this game a solid 9/10.

The only reason I am deducting a point is because some wins resulted purely from exploiting the A.I. which, while from a programming standpoint might be somewhat inevitable, is still not very fun. My other complaint is that despite all pokemon being available at some point in the game, the point at which they are available is often weird and confusing. For instance, some of the best mons are available to purchase halfway through the game, which feels very gimmicky to me. And because I tried to evolve a nincada early in the game since I thought Shedinja might be fun to try, but nope. That evolution now requires a dusk stone. I suppose that makes the game more balanced, but it was still very disappointing in the moment.

Overall, amazing experience and I highly HIGHLY recommend to anyone who has an interest in competetive Pokemon with a knack for balanced team-building.
