Apricorns are in the game, so it makes sense that there would be earlier versions of the apricorn pokeballs, they will just work different to modern day ones.
My guess for the other balls

>Love BallWill prob work the same way as the modern one, more effective on the opposite gender of your battling pokemon
>Lure BallWill either work the same or they will change it to be the ball that "works better on water types"
