Agreed. What’s the point of units if you never get to use them? Even with a lot of the new units I’ve gotten, there hasn’t really been a chance to use them. I just end up leveling them to 135, and they just sit there unused.

That exactly captures how I feel about this game. Even when I get a new unit I looked forward to, the dullness sets in quickly because I'm doing the same thing with them I've done with other units. It's like having the ability to buy different clothes at a clothes store but you can only ever travel in a straight line between your house and that clothes store.

It's pretty mind blowing that the same company which gave various effects to every Z powered status move would later have every status move become Max Guard with Dynamax. Silly Japanese GF ambassador does "research" about Europe, comes up with le epic football and energy theme for Galar Gen 8, the result is awful and gets worse with whatever Dynamax is even, a hologram or inflation fetish, can't tell, probablyba referemce to the Power Ranger villain of the day who becomes bigger when cornered and explodes when the HP goes to 0.
Modern football/soccer is very artificial like basket and american football, if it wasn't for the brand sponsors and tv rights it wouldn't even exist, that's why a football kit always has tons of sponsors everywhere. They tried to make the whole Pokemon battles more realistic to real world parallel competitions, they are very serious and watched in Galar (like why Galar only when every other game had leagues and stadiums in games and anime). The whole pokejobs gimmick also mention the various businesses and brands, perhaps some London City reference? I really dislike Gen 8, from the content to the plot and designs. Hope Pokemon will return covering the last Japanese regions.

Only Megahorn Heracross, Leech Life, Leech Life + Drain Punch Buzzwole, Bug Shift and pairs with lot of multipliers and buffs as well as high attack stats like Noland will survive the bug type squashing.

Please laugh, probably cursed with Toxic Power and mandatory HE, hope it gets extra CS2 and Power Reserve or something, evasion based multiplier and Ramming Speed too, those attacks are all sub 50BP.
