>>48090684Yuri and Yaoi is very common over there for anime and manga, but I can't ever remember an anime I've seen or manga I've read that had a trans character in it, nor have I really heard of anyone else really talking about it. The only example I can think of is Persona 5, but Lala is never actually confirmed to be trans or even a drag queen and all evidence given is indirect and goes both ways. Plus, Persona 5 had those two gay guys who tried to rape Ryuji, so I don't think it counts for much.
But the bigger point that I think they were making is that Japan literally doesn't care about it, and a lot of retarded trannies in the west seem to think "not caring" is equal to "active hatred" so you just immediately assumed that they meant that Japan doesn't like trannies. When *I* say Japan doesn't care about trannies, I mean that they do not care. They're apathetic to the movement, and that's predominately because it's just never been an issue in Japan in the first place. You're gay, so what? No one cares. Japan as a country has far bigger issues to deal with than a guy in a dress going around screaming at people for not calling him "she", and people in Japan just don't do that because they're disciplined from birth and raised in a culture that emphasizes respect. And this has caused it's own set of problems, but as much as I've never heard trans people in Japanese Media I've also never heard of trans people in Japan acting like jackasses to the dude who calls them "he" unknowingly. Everyone is usually polite, because they don't want to ruin their lives by violating the "respect".
Compare that to trannies in the US who screech at other people because they have a jawline the size of a car with "breasts" that looks like deflated balloons and a fucking axe wound between their legs and just can't handle the fact that no, they do not look like a woman and never will be a woman, and they get violently angry whenever someone accidentally breaks this illusion for them.
