Arbok got new patterns every so often up until Gen 5.
Tauros technically had Miltank as an addition to its "line"
Fearow and Spearow still get bandwagoned because muh first ashnime

Getting a new move isn't really what Im going for when you consider every Pokemon gets updated movesets.
Just specifically forms(Mega's/Gigantamax) and evolutions/pre-evolutions

If you evolve with a stone, your pretty much cucked out of an evolution, your best bet is a regional form or a new evo for that regional

I'd imagine Tauros with a normal/steel evolution myself
would also allow them to pull the good old "increase HP Atk Def while lowering speed" so as to not take away all of Tauros' niche

I genuinely think a Tauros/Miltank pre-evo that evolves into either Tauros or Miltank depending on it's gender would be what Tauros needs.

Not for anything special like extra moves but I just want something to really solidify the idea that Tauros and Miltank are just the male and female of the same species. And idea about the two I had as a kid playing Gold and later confirmed in X with that farm you encounter.

Can you really discount Vileplume and Poliwhirl? They haven't been touched themselves, just made into Alta but there is no reason they couldn't get a form like Slowbro did whereas Slowking didn't.
