>>48040395I would've loved a GS Beta Kanto style shrunken down Johto/Kanto(because that's the best we would've gotten), but people who don't understand abstraction would've had their minds broken. Just call it a champion's circuit where you go to 4 major Johto/Kanto gyms each and then reach Mount Silver and fight a rotating gauntlet of trainers like Red, Blue, Lance, etc. Of course once FRLG came out it made the timeline solidly contemporary instead of taking place after GSC.
