What is /vp/'s thoughts on this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FaRbQHlegaM It seems like every year or so we get a "Pokemon Killer" show up. This one at least is graphically impressive i'll say.

Nice mockup. Not a "killer" until it gets a release, i.e. never.
Also this seems to capture a completely different feel than pokemon. It's not like the pokemon games are what keep it alive.

every moment i'd spend playing that, I'd resent not being able to play as a teenager or adult. those scenes with hopscotch and elementary school playgrounds stick out, I'd despise playing that. Children aren't going to be playing this, it looks like it'll only run on tuned gaming PCs, just a horrible bizarre decision for the player character designs.

Nothing will kill Pokemon but much like this (You)
If game freak or any devs for Pokemon copy any features in future installments it was a Win for the Game being compared.
Tl:dr Devs cared enough to use its ideas.
