Years ago, I had determined that Stantler was the least notable Pokémon. The conditions were
>Couldn't have ever had an evolution, even during its introduction or scrapped ones>Couldn't have any forms or signature moves or signature abilities>Has absolutely nothing notable or special about it (as an example, Dunsparce is notable for its 1% encounter rate)>Has to be as old as possibleStantler never even appeared in a regional Pokédex outside of Johto back in 1999.
I think that the least notable Kanto Pokémon was probably Venonat and Venomoth, which technically never appeared in the regional Pokédexes for Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, Alola, or Galar, but it's still part of an evolutionary line.
>>48043151Seviper is notable because it's always paired with Zangoose, it would be like only talking about Plusle without Minun. Qwilfish had Shibirefugu as a planned evolution, and is also a rare fishing encounter in its game, a swarm encounter usually.
>>48043184Girafarig was the first Normal/Psychic though (also even the first Normal/Dark at one point) and also had a scrapped pre-evolution Twins that eventually got reworked into Wobbuffet. Also it was given a gender difference in Gen IV.
