Masters should have been based on the anime universe and with 2d animations for the sync moves like the animations in dbz dokkan battle or one piece treasure cruise, you get all the game characters and more and it's easier to come up with sync pairs

I wonder what normies would say if they realize Ash isn't interracting with the other characters outside of the self insert MC and Team Rocket, or when Brock, Serena, Misty, Lillie, Dawn and more aren't recognizing him, when Misty's outfit looks completely different etc.
It's what happened to the TR trio, absolutely no other named character was present in their Story Event and the first playable NPC was specifically created just to avoid using a game-canon character during the fights.
I wish pokemon had a more consistent environment between its original medium and its anime, DBZ and One Piece are a bit smoother on that point outside of >broly memes

Jessie and James appear and they debuted in the anime before Yellow, and unlike their Yellow/Let's Go counterparts, their Meowth talks and they reference events from the anime. At this point, we're likely to see more anime characters added once they start running out of popular gym leaders and elite four to add.

But desu though, I'm sick of the fucking ashime. I'd rather see characters based off specific trainer types like biker, hex girl, or hiker, or characters from the spinoff games, like Revolution, Colosseum or Rangers.

That's not true because every Galar model is a stripped down version of their SWSH model and I bet Dawn's BDSP model still has a higher polycount and more cohesive texture sheet.

Literally the only characters who are upgrades are characters who haven't appeared in a 3D game before or anyone in X/Y or ORAS who hasn't had a full model.

Models in the game are remade from scratch to at least get rid of the enormous heads, use painted facial features instead of 3d and other means to bring the polygon count down, as well as some weird other changes
These ones are definitely not SWSH worthy
They *could* have worked for BDSP with a texture overhaul... if the artstyle wasn't so different

Because the game is made to run on as many phones as possible. Not just built for the top shelf units. A trailer built from a workstation is 10-100 times more the performance envelope of the average ARM device.

Lana's family was always on the character designer's mind, but the 3D designers were lazy mothafuckers.

Which is ironic since all he had to do was mount Lana's head in other designs, Pokekids for her little sisters and Beauty for her mom and add a ponytail.

Can someone who is dedicated to 3d modeling tell me if it is really difficult to do this?

My only complaint is that they used the same 3d model.
It was only enough to use other models of the same game, for example normal Beauty would be a perfect Daisy, Lass would be Lily.

Violet would be the most difficult, the closest thing to her hair is a Channeler or Picnicker.

Probably in recent phases it was planned to give Lana a larger family, but it is curious that both the concept of twins and the ponytail were somehow maintained in the anime.
