The original Genesect lived 300 million years ago if I’m remembering it’s Pokedex entry correctly. I don’t think we’re going back far enough to see that.

Maybe Legends Unova for some reason or another, but that should be mainly focused on the original dragon, and even then that's only 3000 years compared to 300 million.

I think if GF does both remakes and legends again, fossil Genesect would be revived there. Both games would technically have new Pokemon/formes or whatever, probably what GF planned when they decided not to reveal them.
