ITT: describe your ideal pokemon life
Favorite Pokémon, what job you would want (can be a trainer), what your day to day life with your Pokémon would look like, if you would want more than one, a monotype team or just plain odd mons, describe everything. You can choose what region you’d want to live in as well as make up your own little region.

OP here. My personal favorite Pokémon is Lapras. It’s such a cute mon, plus when I was a kid I would breed them for hours upon hours and release them because the Pokédex entries said they were going extinct and I didn’t want that to happen. My team would be Lapras, Munchlax, Riolu, Gible, Croagunk, and Sandile, and I’d live in the Alola region, and I’d live by the beachside, spending every day basking in the sun on the back of my lapras, with one or two of my Pokémon out with me. We’d be drinking berry smoothies and occasionally diving down with lapras to find treasures on the bottom, and for money I would sell what I find and offer rides to people for really cheap. I think I’d rather just be a wandering trainer, the whole champion storyline is a bit boring, I’d rather spend my days dozing off by the ocean with my Pokémon swimming and playing, though I would train them so they’d evolve and I could hold my own in wild Pokémon battles.

I’d probably also take a few jobs “patrolling” popular beaches to ensure that dangerous wild pokemon stay clear away. I’d circle around on Lapras, diving every so often to make sure no careless swimmers step on a tentacool, or accidentally evolve a magikarp by kicking it. I actually had an idea the other night based on what your team/life would be in an anime scenario where you aren't the main character but are tied to a specific region. I'd be a kantonian who retires to the Sevii islands to take up pursuits other than battling such as breeding and my team would be Mantine, Heracross, Arbok, Pikachu, Mr. Mime, and Raticate

Cool! Mr Mime always made me uneasy as a kid, but I LOVED Mime Jr. I used a Mr Mime on a Blue playthrough and holy fucking shit that mon was just a total brick shithouse.

My region would be Southern California with the main focus being San Diego. I would be a trainer with a team of either dragon or flying Pokémon and also having aspirations to become something stronger like a gym leader. I occasionally would like to travel the rest of California when not training

I'd live in the Pokémon equivalent of rural Florida. Middle of nowhere, with a house just big enough for me and my Pokémon and lots of undeveloped land. I would be a Pokémon ranger. Any job where I would work outdoors and in the wilderness would be wonderful, and as a ranger I could help protect that wilderness. My favorite Pokémon is Serperior so naturally they'd be my partner Pokémon. I'd keep other serpent Pokémon as regular pets as well, specifically Arbok, Seviper, Milotic and Dragonair. I'd spend lots of my spare time outdoors with my Pokémon, I'd explore wetlands and wander prairies with Serperior, Arbok and Seviper and diving and swimming with Milotic and Dragonair.

Damn. That actually sounds like a LOT of fun. I could imagine walking down endless land beside your Pokémon, or catching something like Tauros to just rampage in the middle of nowhere. Also exploring and charting swamps while battling off wild Pokémon, as well as battling poachers.
