Rock/Ground is a good typing, offensively. Just not defensively. Rock needs a defensive buff, anyway. I'd make it resist Ice and no longer weak to Ground, at minimum

Why the fuck was it given Sand Veil as an ability, and why did it only get +10 attack in Gen 6? There were so many better abilities than Sand Veil, and they could've at least given it a mega like Alakazam and Gengar, its fellow 3-stage trade evolutions

The models aren't desatured, the sprites were OVERSATURATED. The models match the sugimori art for the most part

this isn't fucking novel information, back in 2012 and 2013 before Gen 6 even came out or was announced, and Pokemon Sage was being developed here, one of Sage's sprite guidelines was to make the sprite with more saturated colors then the voted in design to match how GF did it

All this shows is that they need to redo the Sugi artwork for Gen 1 and 3, since they weren't made with 3D in mind, and were trying to emulate the original watercolour style.

Weird, that's the color I always remember it being anyways, its hard to believe that it used to be so brown. This feels like a Mandela effect thing or something. I guess because the official artwork is the XY colors, and it's more similar to the gen 2 game colors anyways. Yknow, the ones you conveniently left out of your image.
