>Galar Region is now using power spots for Dymamax and fueling it's booming industries
>from the beginning of the game you see strange events start occuring where locations around the Galar region are emitting weird energy and random small scale disasters occur
>Player, Sonia, and Hau research and figure out that Galar's use of all the power spots is ripping a hole through another dimension and if it goes too far the entire Galar region could be destroyed and slip into this dimension
>Player and Hau tell Leon, and Leon tells Rose about what's happening
>Turns out Rose knew all along but he didn't want to put a pause on Galar's thriving industry, and was secretly working on a band aid solution that could end up causing even more damage
>Leon tells Rose that's alerting the other gym leaders and putting a stop to this immediatedly, whether Rose consents or not
>Rose panics and alerts his research team to put their solution into action despite the risks
>of course things go awry, the solution fails and Eternatus shows up warping the entire city of Wyndon into another dimension and the rest of the region is slowly slipping into it too
>Player and Hau decide to awaken Zacian and Zamazenta with the help of Sonia to seal away Eternatus and save the region

Would this have been a better story for SwSh?

I honestly also thought about having an Absol as a side character that gets a bad rep and at the end you realize it was trying to warn people all along and it joins your team to help.
