Cherrygrove is my favourite. Here's a small curiosity: in HGSS the pond behind the Pokemon Center is accessible from route 30 for surfing and fishing, but the encounters are different based on which side of the pond you're currently. On the north side encounters are typical to other lakes and ponds (Magikarp and Poliwag), while south side encounters are all marine Pokemon (Tentacool, Krabby, etc) making this pond the only known body of water where you can catch both marine and lake Pokemon.
This happens because internally the game associates one set of water encounters for all bodies of water found on a certain map and when you enter the pond from the Cherrygrove side the game uses the Cherrygrove water encounter table, which is meant for the sea shore on the west.
