I think the underground addition is neat but i'll need more. basically since there's no ranked system online, I'll need some kind of gameplay presented for postgame. battle tower alone or a one-time mythical encounter isn't enough, that shit has been done again and again.

We're only on the 2nd trailer and they haven't even cared to show megas yet despite being announced in February.
LGPE was announced around April but at least cared to show the old megas by the third trailer in August.

The only thing wrong with them gameplay wise is the lack of a battle frontier

This because GF likes to put in their remakes only breadcrumbs from third versions.
I don't give a damn if they put Distortion World or less, it's a place you see only once. But cutting Battle Resort is cutting a large postgame content.

It's because they look like they're just Diamond and Pearl (2021). This hasn't been confirmed, mind you, but it is what it is.

I heard that the Gym Leaders won't be using Platinum team configurations, so I'm already disappointed.

When your expectations are so low it can only go up. I was doomposting about LGPE and SwSh for months but loved both those games when I got my hands on them. I was shitting on BDSP at the reveal but now I'm so excited to play through Sinnoh with functional online again

Because they're ugly funko pop 3D model replicas of the originals that look worse 15 years later. Sprites will never be topped. The only reason npcs are singing their praises now is because the first trailer was so horrific that the improved second one tricked their brains into thinking the game will now be good. It will be almost as unplayable as LGPE was.
