The movie must have been in production pretty early, because that's the ony place where Incineroar runs like that. In the actual anime, games, and Smash, it runs like a human.

There has to be some rule for fire starters to all eventually turn out bipedal. The only that isn't strictly bipedal is Typhlosion but it can easily stand on two feet whenever it wants and is shown in almost all of its promotional art on 2 feet.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen it actually walk on its hind legs though. If anything it just mimics a real life badger’s threat display which makes it make sense for it to stand on its hind legs in battle

Torracat doesn't make sense to just evolve into literally my mom's tiger. Not sure how you can like Torracat if you dislike Incineroar. Torracat clearly sets up for Incineroar with the larger forelegs.

Yeah you're right about the larger forelegs and i'm not gonna pretend to understand the all of the design elements of the line. I don't hate Incineroar but it kinda shit on what I thought the Litten line could be visually. Did it really need to be go that far in the humanoid direction to be a cool heel wrestler? Was it really not possible still maintain good portion feline elements?

It really doesn't, the transition is godawful.
You could see Cinderace and Delphox coming when Raboot and Braixen were already standing, Incineroar is just a disturbing 180° that destroys the innocence of the Litten line
