People will always want a PSA 10. there will be a point in time when a PSA 10 evolutions will cost more than a PSA 9 base set 2.
In fact you could get a base set 2 PSA 9 for a couple hundred. in fact some cards already are more valuable, just because they are a grade higher, doesnt matter if its a 5 year old card. people want a mint, and will spend way more for one anyways.
Its not a bad idea to pick up the evolutions reprint. I never bought into LP/MP older WOTC cards, just because in the long run i can get more money out of just buying cards new and taking care of them myself.
