sun and moon relies on kanto the least of every game. No 8 gyms like KANTOOOOOO and it has its own version of raichu and geodude instead of just using the KANTOOOOOOO versions. It objectively has less kanto pandering than sinnoh does.

No, think about it like a painting. The Kanto Pokémon are used as the wildlife i.e background, while the Johto Pokémon are the subject i.e foreground. The way GSC and XY utilizes Kanto Pokémon is VASTLY different and frankly not even comparable.

X&Y isn't worth playing unless it's the first game you've ever played of pokemon. I'll give the game it did it's job of getting people back into the series or getting new fans in but I've replayed it the least.
