The 3D is easily the worst part of the DS games, even if it can be alright sometimes (HGSS to B2W2 use it alright on most maps)). But I think Xenogears is neat, maybe it's just my weird taste. It's a shame they decided to go full 3D on the 3DS though.

Mario 64 DS looked like shit, most attempts at 3D on the DS were shit.
Gen 4 and 5's 3D environments were handled elegantly by comparison.

BiS was great and looked good but its a completely different style, i really liked what they did for BW's graphics compared to the 2D before

This looks better than the 3D garbage in gen 5 and it came out 6 years earlier when devs were much more inexperienced with the hardware.

It kind of just seems like you're being pedantic, but maybe I am a retard. How is it different to the naked eye seeing a 192p screenshot on a 720p phone screen at roughly the same size? Like if you take a picture of an old tv and look at the old tv in reality with the naked eye what is the difference? I understand that zooming in on it is different than veiwing it on a small screen.
