ArtBook

No.48098015 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
The "Comfy Thread" died way too fast (although I guess I should have expected it), so I decided to start this thread about the idea I proposed there.
Now, imagine the following:
For whatever reason, GF goes on to, instead of new games (or alongside them, more on that in the end), release new generations in the form of ArtBooks, something like so:
>Have the first double page be the map of the region;
>The next few pages showcase all the cities;
>Then the protagonists;
>Rival(s);
>Professor;
Then we pause the human characters a little and have the next page show the PokéDex design, then show the full Dex excluding the Legendaries and Mythicals.
After that, back to some more humans:
>GYM Leaders, with infos such as their team, their Ace, where their GYM is, etc;
>Other important characters (with the same info as before -when applicable- and the reason they are important);
>The average trainer classes, Lass, Ranger, Ace, etc;
>Evil Team (in case they want to keep going with it, even in ArtBook format, although Gen8 didn't have one);
>Lastly, the Legendaries and Mythicals.
After all the "info pages", have some more pages with the protagonists (and other random characters) and their Pokémon interacting with the world, traversing routes, exploring caves, battling, facing the evil team, meeting the Legendaries, etc, etc, etc.

Would you buy such ArtBook?

Back on the point where GF continues making games: Since one of the excuses regarding the reason we get new generations as quickly as we do, is to provide more content to the anime and merchandises, in that case, having the ArtBook present the new stuff beforehand could provide GF more time to increment the games.
