You're really gonna shit on this moment for being 'easy-to-animate' when the game is absolutely BRIMMING with content and TONS of new animations?

Also I think the bigger consideration for this was making the final encounter a bit more challenging. It wasn't them cheaping out.

It's the final Illumina Pokémon. It's a multicoloured deer-like animal that brings plants n shit to life in its wake. It's prime photography material and they absolutely should have played with that more, regardless of the rest of the game.
