>>48114031In this scenario, the lions would win. Even factoring in additional KO's from Sandstorm or Rough Skin or whatever. The numbers are well weighted against Pokemon in a standard Gameplay format.
But what about any other situation?
If this was Anime rules? No contest, as people have said, god pokes gonna god, ghosts are intangible and can simply pull out souls. Kyogre is at the bottom of the ocean. No chance for the lions. (This also includes the Lockstin/Terminal Montage scenario.)
This also includes resting. Vasts of Pokemon can fly, and if they were to battle on say, Earth. Plenty of locations a Pokemon could fly to to take a break. Or swim. I dunno how well Lions can do with open waters. Does drowning count towards the Pokemon?
Now for another scenario, what about a standard Battle Royal? I know most game modes of that variety have shrinking play areas that disqualify/kill people out of bounds. I feel like this if more even, as despite the SHEER number of lions, the circle would claim the vast majority of them, but Pokemon would also no longer have safe havens to retreat to. The urgency would also make limited moves a non factor as well.
We also gotta consider the lions stats as well. Are they all 1-1-1 flesh fodder? Do the have average stats? Is everyone just a non-fire Pyroar? Important questions.
With no answers. There is no answer to this thought experiment as that's all it is. A conversation starter, and a way to share ideas and processes. A theoretical topic that people on Versus forums, Death Battle, and now here have taken way too seriously.
