What's the best way/method to play DS rom-hacks? Wondering if I should go the flash card route or the homebrew/cfw route

is it also possible to access the save file using 3DS homebrew? Curious if JKSV can make copies of save files for these roms

I use Drastic on my phone to play DS games. I also have a 3ds with homebrew and Twilight Menu.

I personally prefer JKSV + PKHeX. I find PKSM a little risky. Didn't like it when I last tried it out. That's why I was curious if JKSV can access the save file of roms played on Twilight menu. Didn't wanna install Twilight menu before figuring these things out

Twilight Menu puts the saves in their own folder. You don't need to use JKSV or Checkpoint unless you use your own cartridge, at least that's what I assume.

Incredibly easy drag and drop methods are all you need.
All games I have tested including ROM hacks are working and saving perfectly fine. Anything that requires DSI functionality is still not working on TwilightMenu, but that is rarely an issue.

Hacked 3ds + flashcart like the r4 etc is better imo.
I don't like twilight menu.
For gba I use custom cia files. Also better than twilight.

Sooooooooo... Is this a stealth Pokémulation thread? I'm having a sweet time playing my hacked SoulSilver on MelonDS, as it has gotten a lot better than DesMuME.
