It may not have been the best gen, but, god damn, Kalos was such an incredibly soulful region. Great music and beautiful sceneries. Most of the characters, while sadly forgetful, had great designs, Sycamore and Diantha included. It sucks that Gen 6 shilled Kanto so much, though.

Kalos was definitely a better Pokemon version of France than Galar was as a Pokemon version of UK, that's for sure.
