Genius Sonority was lazy and reused the Stadium 2 models for the first 251 Pokemon in XD and Colosseum. That's why Crobat and Gloom are so ugly.

The Pokemon selection is better than Colosseum, but it still kind of sucks. There is a Team Snagem grunt called Wakin who uses his Gloom's sleep powder to put you to sleep when you're about to leave the SS Libra shipwreck and then steal your Snag machine. That scene is when I first realized that Gloom had actual eyes and not just slits.[/spoiler:lit]

If anything the shadow stuff is expanded, there’s more types of shadow moves that are useful, especially shadow half for catching more shadow pokemon

won't say it sucks right away, it's a decent game but a pretty mediocre one

It at least have a better roster than Colosseum, I guess its always worth a try if you actually never played any of these gamecube titles

They're fun, and a strange deviation from the standard pokemon fare without being quote so distinct as standard spin-offs - sort of like a retarded cousin. I dont think theyve aged well but can appreciate what they were; a self-contained story that tried to put doubles at centre stage. I kind of wish shadow pokemon were better integrated into the overarching pokemon universe, but eh. I hope you have fun OP. Personally perferred colosseum over that which should not be typed out, not quite sure why

They're items to give to Eevee that allow you to evolve them into Umbreon and Espeon when Eevee's friendship is high enough. No clue why they didn't use the Gamecube's clock.
Still a better game than SWSHit.
