Reminder that farfetchd’s entire gimmick is being weak and it’s BST was 352 before it got buffed to 377.

Sad to say but there was most certainly an evolution planned but I kept getting pushed off like with farfetched. As far as I know it seems Gamefreak artist will just entirely not put something in a game if they don't like a design rather than making the game playable, seems like it was planned but they just never actually put one in.

It's a joke pokemon man, why don't people get that in the first few gens not every pokemon was supposed to be used seriously in battle, pokemon like delibird were just made so people could go "haha, santa bird, that's funny" when they encountered it. The thing literally just throws presents at you, and these presents might fucking heal you, it's just supposed to be funny and memorable.
