>>48150338Well, to be honest, I used to love Pokémon with all my heart and soul, play on a regular basis, battle a lot online, etc.
Nowadays, I'm 27 and I feel like I have to keep on playing and following the hype on every release because I could accidentally skip a great opus. But the truth is I want Pokémon to end. I feel trapped in a vicious circle, tricked by the developpers relying on nostalgia into playing games that just feel like a chore.
Completing an ever-expanding Pokédex is becomming boring and hacked Pokémon have spread everywhere, to the point that it's no use trying to play legitimately anymore. I feel no satisfaction over hundreds of hours breeding and training Pokémon that get wiped by teams of perfect stats legendaries.
To me, The Pokémon Company should move on to another formula if they want their all-time fans to stay around longer, because while many new players are joining, it seems like the core community of Pokémon is progressively leaving the boat.
Tl;dr : Pokémon should end or entirely reboot.
