>>48154435I'm probably gonna run a Pokerole game for my friends at some point, and I'm going to base the region on Florida because Florida is one step away from being a Pokemon region as it is. Gonna call it the Pantano Region, and I had a couple of ideas for Pantanian Variants.
>Pantanian Sandile: Water/GroundAdapted to living in the swamps of the Pantano Region, this species of Sandile lurks in swampy waters before leaping out to grab its prey and drag them under. It's an excellent swimmer. Unlike normal Sandile, its eyes look like swimming goggles and it's a pale green color with a single splotchy brown stripe going down its back. It evolves into Krokorok which is also Water/Ground and has a similar look with a more saturated green/blue and Krookodile which again further saturates the blue and keeps the swimmer aesthetic. They have a violent relationship with...
>Pantanian Totodile: Water/DarkIt's bigger and a bit leaner than its normal counterpart, with sharper teeth and a black underbelly with a spiked tail. The blue it has is also a darker shade and less saturated. It's a vicious creature that takes pleasure in the suffering of others and "plays with its food" as it were. It evolves into Pantanian croconaw which has less of a double chin and is more of a spindly fucker that keeps the spiked tail and has big fists with claws on the end. Pantarian Fearligatr is less bulk, more lean, and the plates on its arms are now blades/spikes and it has a boxier jaw with a wicked grin on it and black sclera with red eyes. The spikes on its back are also more numerous. It and Krookodile have an intense rivalry over territory and hate each other by nature.
Also going to make the evil team intent on causing chaos to awaken a legendary pokemon based on the Skunk Ape and Fairchild Oak that's a Ghost/Grass type that will allegedly bring chaos to the area. Needless to say, these will be your Florida Man types. They do seemingly insane things in an attempt to build chaos.
