Why do you all purchase BOTH VERSIONS, EVEN THOUGH THEY'RE THE SAME GAMES?!
Better yet, WHY do you INSIST on BUYING MORE & MORE, WHEN THE QUALITY JUST GETS WORSE & WORSE?!

The only time I bought both games was Gen 5 for multiple saves and more PC boxes and the fact I wanted to support my favorite generation. The last Pokémon game I purchased was Ultra Moon. No national dex no buy I did buy my mom a code for virtual console blue for mother's day though

I've put together an entire physical collection and when I off myself or die beforehand, my will can give the collection to the one nephew I had a connection with and got to enjoy the games together with.

I have pirated and emulated every single Pokemon game and have never paid for a single one. My plushies are custom-made. Pokemon has not, and will never receive a dime from me.

Very few Pokemon fans buy both versions, that's pretty much only for collectors who don't care about the quality of the games to begin with since they just want to put the boxes on the shelf and don't play.

The only games I have multiple versions of are FireRed/LeafGreen of which LeafGreen was gifted to me and Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon because I was able to get Ultra Sun really cheap. I don't resell them because I am starting to realize it's nice to be able to offer a console and a game for friends to borrow if I want to play the games with someone else.
