It's not even about a buff anymore. How come Corsola, Nosepass, Lunatone, Minior, Klinklang, and Nihilego can learn Power Gem but not the Pokemon with actual gems sticking out of its body?

And I forgot to mention that Amaura and Aurorus literally wasn't able to learn Aurora Veil back in gen 7 (the gen it was introduced) despite it being more than thematically appropriate. It wasn't like it was going to overshadow Alolan Ninetales if that what Game Freak was thinking. Absolute bullshit.

Masuda genuinely believes Ice Type was a mistake considering it was more or less solely designed to be a type to hard-counter the penultimate boss' special snowflake type, Dragon, and wishes he could retcon it into a Move-Only Type that only Water Types and Shillmons can have.
