I remember the elite four one, and piers’, and Hop’s final theme, and obviously Marnie’s + Bede’s. I also remember Mustard’s and Klara’s, as well as Peony’s and and Calyrex’s final theme.
The Battle Tower theme is also memorable, though it’s only because it’s a jarringly different composition due to being made by Toby Fox.

honestly the gym leader battle theme was the best part of these games. it fit so well with the stadium atmosphere that i would physically get an adrenaline rush toward the end of the battle.

ichinose is given free reign on a track that plays to his strengths, and unlike the rest of the ost this track doesn't seem to have been slaughtered by the crunch that must've lead to the consistently awful mixing and meandering compositions
everything else is, at best, either serviceable (eg; freezington) or a commendable effort that doesn't quite stick the landing (eg; legendary birds, which fucking sucks because i really want to like that track given what it tries to be)

Marnie's battle theme is my second favorite battle music in the entire series. The area music was forgettable but I liked gen 8's battle music.

Gym battle theme is phenomenal.

Title Screen is cool, I like the use of the Hall of Fame theme. Bede's battle theme is all over the place but otherwise pretty hype. Motostoke is decent, reminds me of Castelia a bit though I may just be imagining it. Piers' theme slapped.

Wild Area swings between nice and irritating. Hop's theme is funny with the awful slap effect but otherwise unremarkable. Marnie's theme feels like it had potential but doesn't really have a good climax so just ends up sounding weak.

I'm not personally a fan of the AWOOOOOs.

Overall not all bad but not particularly memorable outside of a few tracks.

Budew Drop Inn, Calyrex's themes, Hop's League battle theme and the Last Pokemon version of the Gym Leader theme were good imo, but everything else I think was pretty soulless or bland. The soundfont this game had just didn't feel like enough of a step up/departure from SM's and it ends up lacking it's own identity I think, so many songs sound like they could have easily been on the 3DS. My God is the credits theme generic as fuck. Let's Go did a better job musically.
