You people like to fight about which main game is the best but which gen is your favorite when you factor in the spinoffs and remakes that came out during that time? Does it still align with your favorite main game?

Going by main games my favorite is Gen 4, but counting spinoffs, it's definitely Gen 3

Gen 3 + 4 without question. It's basically an era, 3 flowed amazingly into 4 regarding spin-offs, movies and the like.

The transition from DS to 3DS didn't help things. At least Conquest was cool.
