Chikorita. It's got a terrible learnset and it's not great in-game because of it, but the whole line has some of my favorite starter designs to this day. I can't help but like it

That's gen 6. The Froakie line is the only one that isn't totally subpar. The gen 2 starters aren't good to use in the games but if we're just talking about designs they're all pretty charming
