Jackalope mon, doesn't look bad, definitely have seen worse. Pokemon taking a few physical traits upon breeding with separate species is something they should have introduced earlier.

I'd keep it subtle though. New colors, or placing new features on the offspring if they don't offset the natural design too much.

I don't think they actually get blended. The beetle just steals the snail's shell to wear, and the snail gets wrapped up in bandages to keep its exposed body from dehydrating.
