emerald did have much better team composition for the gym leaders, not even considering their rematches, and its a shame oras just went and copy pasted their ruby and sapphire ones
having both team aqua and magma there, rayquaza's role, it made the story feel more complete, and even tho the delta episode somewhat mitigates that, it aint the same as just having groudon and kyogre go at it in sootopolis
