Hoenn doesn't really have anything that fits too well.
Munchlax, Snover, Abomasnow, Tangrowth, and maybe Skorupi and Drapion could fit well with some adjustments to their eye shapes.
Unova was full of rounded smoother shapes and flowing designs to make the animations look better, and of those maybe the female Pidove line could fit with its minimal color schemes and generic bird styling. The male colorful Unfezant was a bit much in color and shape play.
Kalos was quite far removed from Kanto-style designs, but Bergmite and Avalugg could probably fit in next to Tangela. Moreso Bergmite, though. Pyroar maybe? Litleo is a hard no though.
Alola... Mudbray and Mudsdale are close-ish. Wimpod potentially, though Golisopod is far removed from gen 1 design choices.
From Galar, Drednaw is about the only one I would think makes sense for Kanto with a considerably more rough design than most everything else in the region.
